Brock Needs Our Help

Meet Brock a 16 week old American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, Great Dane Mix puppy. Brock along with his sister's Pebbles and Wilma were rescued from Maple Grove Impound at only 5 weeks of age. They were found left outside huddled in a crate in the middle of a cold Minnesota winter.  Brock has spent the past few months with his foster mom Susan and has since been diagnosed with Entropic Eye and he will require multiple surgeries to ensure that his eyesight isn't effect and  that he leads a comfortable happy life. Entropion is a medical condition in which the eyelid (usually the upper lid in dogs) folds inward. It is very uncomfortable, as the eyelashes constantly rub against the cornea. Entropion is usually caused by genetic factors and may be congenital.Trachoma infection may cause scarring of the inner eyelid, which may cause entropion. To read more on Entropion please click on the following wikipedia link. If you would like to make a donation to Brocks surgery please click the following link; Brocks Eyes. Please remember every little bit helps!

Fosters Needed

Metropolitan Mutts is always in need of more foster homes. Currently we are most in need of large dog or adult dog fosters.  We supply you with a crate, collar, leash, bowls, food and vet care. In return we ask that you treat each foster dog as if it were your own. Most foster dogs are in great need of love, patience and basic obedience. Are you able to open up your home to a dog in need? If so please visit the Metropolitan Mutts website and fill out a foster application today. Tiffany will be in touch within 24 hours regarding your application.

MM Photo Shoot

Metropolitan Mutts along with Erica Loeks and Pampered Pooch Playground got together to hold a photo shoot for the MM website. We had a great time with everyone and the photos turned out Amazing! It was a great opportunity to get all of our rescue dogs together and really showcase the first "Metropolitan Mutts". A huge thanks to Erica, Keith and all of the MM fosters, adopters, and volunteers that were willing to stop by with their pups.
